Ice Bowl is a sister event to the Cold War winter surf competition, and is hosted at Forth Union skate park in Asbury Park. Though Forth Union skate park is housed in the old carousel building on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, it is essentially an open air venue making it perfect for a cold weather skateboarding competition. The event organizers wanted to create an event that could be expanded upon in years to come so a logo and brand was established to lay the ground work for a new tradition. The brand and artwork are inspired by vintage ice and ice cream vendors.
